Before the cleaning process begins, each bin is checked for any remaining debris. If there is any trash remaining in your bin, after trash collection has been made, we will bag any remaining trash and place it back into your trash bin after our cleaning process has completed. After the initial inspection, the container is taken to the rear of the curbside cleaning unit from where a hydraulic lifting mechanism will lift & rotate the container placing it over a specially designed pressure washing mechanism. The pressure head rotates at high speed in all directions and effectively blasts any debris off the container. The combined specially formulated green cleaning solution is used to remove almost 99% of common bacteria from the surface of the container.
Our commercial service is designed to provide the same high standard of cleanliness as afforded to our residential users and is ideally suited to:

Why Clean Your Trash Bin?

Think of all the unpleasant things that end up in the average household trash bin. Things like pet waste, disposable diapers, food scraps, takeout cartons, food packaging, meat, fish and poultry remnants and so much more. Even when these items are contained in trash bags, they can leak into your curbside bin. Over time, even small amounts of leakage will add up to quite a mess.

Unpleasant odors is just one, relatively small problem caused by unclean bins. The residue that builds up in the bottom of an unclean trash bin is a breeding ground that can cause diseases, such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria. Failure to provide routine cleanings for curbside collection bins can lead to increased health risks for your family, pets and neighbors.

Pollutants in the unclean curbside collection bins are potentially harmful to the environment. They can end up in our water sources. This can cause additional human health risks, ecosystem disturbances, and an overall negative impact on water resources. They also attract ants, flies, maggots, and other insects that spread germs and infectious diseases to your yard and home.

Manual cleaning is a start, but it is not enough. Rinsing a bin with soap and water allows harmful bacteria to flow straight into storm drains, contaminating all bodies of water that it enters. It also does not remove or kill the bacteria and diseases that breed in your bins. Plus the water consumption of manual cleaning is more than 15 times higher than cleaning with a professional high pressure system.

Having a professional trash and recycle curbside bin cleaning service is essential to community health and wellness.
